This one is a win-win! My budgies love to nibble and wreck the outside 'legs' of the octopus. My tiel spends hours nibbling on the paper threads on the inside. So when the budgies and tiel are done doing their thing with it, I swap them around. Win-win! They absolutely love it and it's great to see my tiel being active, as he doesn't really play with toys.

It’s very well made and the long strategically folded papers get the attention of the bird right away. At first my birds are weary of it and do small nibbles on it, but once they get comfortable they go to town. It also does last a bit of time because they get bored of it so I switch it out but once they get it again they are so happy and destroy it. Would recommend.

My cockatiel ignored this toy for a full year but I kept putting it in the mix. He finally discovered he loves it and has been going at it for days. It’s down to the skeleton of a toy. I love planet pleasures toys for their safe materials but also the detail! Even the support structures, hanging rope, and tags are fun and creative! They also have perfect pockets for foraging treats. Even if your bird doesn’t respond right away to a toy, keep offering it in different places and combinations.

I recently got this toy for my 3 budgies, and 3/3 of them are starting to show interest in it, I got it 2 days ago, so i still need to wait.
